Keyloop technology set to unify the Canadian automotive retail landscape
RAPID RTC and SERTI to be rebranded as Keyloop from January 2023

The rebranding is part of Keyloop’s ongoing commitment to provide dealers and OEMs with the technological tools they need to create a seamless buying and aftersales experience

16th January 2023: On 16th January 2023 Keyloop, an international automotive technology company, completed the rebrand of RAPID RTC and SERTI across Canada with the products being renamed under the parent company. This will make Canada the second largest market for Keyloop, which operates across over 100 countries serving approximately 20,000 dealer sites and most automotive manufacturers worldwide.

RAPID RTC and SERTI were acquired by Keyloop in March 2021 and February 2022 respectively. Since joining the Keyloop family they have been working together to amalgamate and develop their products to help dealers and OEMs provide a seamlessly integrated customer journey and meet their digital demands.

Tom Kilroy, CEO of Keyloop commented “Canada is a very important market for us and we are committed to growing our footprint within the region. Whilst Rapid RTC and SERTI have been a part of the Keyloop family for a while, we have been working on integrating RAPID RTC digital tools with SERTI DMS and bringing them into the Keyloop product portfolio. This will provide our customers with the right technology to create a first class, personalized and truly digitally enabled car buying and owning experience."

Along with the organizational integration comes a new brand identity, all products’ names have been changed to match new Keyloop branding:

The rebrand comes as the automotive industry continues to navigate ongoing challenges, including the economic crisis and supply chain issues. In the spirit of rebranding, Keyloop continues to commit to its customers and develop solutions that provide OEMs and dealers with a technology-first approach that is aimed at ensuring they can sell better, sell more and increase their customer loyalty.

Martin Jalbert, Vice President Sales at Keyloop Canada said “The rebrand comes at an interesting time for the Canadian automotive market as dealers and OEMs adjust to the challenges across much of the global automotive industry. Dealers and OEMs are experiencing an extremely high turnover of staff and it’s a long process to train new resources. This is having an impact on the way in which dealers and OEMs operate and interact with their customers. In order to successfully address these challenges, dealers and OEMs need to ensure that their customer engagement is at its highest in such a competitive market. By combining the power of SERTI, RAPID RTC and the wider Keyloop portfolios, our solutions allow dealers to seamlessly manage the complete customer engagement lifecycle from initial engagement through to retention and upsell with a reduced cost base and simplified processes.

“In fact, our data shows that almost 35% of online bookings are made outside of business hours. The tools that Keyloop provides allow for car buyers and owners to control their appointments, without the need to speak to someone at the dealership. This will allow dealers to continue to make sales at all times of the day, increasing profits and efficiency. Our newly combined organisation allows us to be better embedded in this customer journey and continue to provide our customers with the seamless service they require.”
